Best Android Games of 2025 So Far

You have an excellent Android phone, but you don’t know any games to fully utilize its capabilities, right? This content piece is going to help you with precisely that.

Whether you have a dedicated gaming phone or just an Android with fantastic power, these are the games that will let you take full advantage of your phone’s gorgeous display and the Snapdragon processor hiding underneath it.

I have covered everything from shooter games to our all-time favorite racing games. So, without much ado, let’s hop right into it.

Ticket to Ride

This is one of the best adaptations of the board game that we’ve all played at least once in our family gatherings or maybe with friends (if they’re into that).

You don’t need to buy the whole board now because you can still play Ticket to Ride on both your Android and iPhone. Install it through the App Store and go on that ride. With pass and play, five players can play simultaneously, and if you connect to a local area network (like Among Us), you can play it with more than five people.

I have been playing it with my office friends (during the break, of course), and it is a fantastic way to bond with your team. As for the graphics, they are excellent and seamless. The game doesn’t require a lot of processing power, as it can be played on most Android phones available.

If you are a loner, don’t worry; you can play it as a solo individual in multiplayer mode.

All in all, it’s a great alternative to the original Ticket to Ride board game.

Call of Duty: Mobile

It’s one of the best multiplayer games for your smartphone. From the short maps in the multiplayer mode to the Battle Royale, the game is on point.

I have been playing it on my Pixel 8, and it surprisingly plays at an impressive 120fps. The gaming experience has been great while playing Call of Duty: Mobile. A factor contributing to the experience is my high-speed Spectrum Internet, which offers affordable plans and top-notch customer service

Another factor is the game’s mechanics. They are easy to get used to and offer plenty of customization options for you. Tune the graphics to your liking, and you’re good to go.

I keep graphics settings at medium while the frame rates are usually set to maximum to maintain a balanced yet smooth gameplay experience. I am not a big fan of their BR mode. If you like playing shooter games on bigger maps where you need to strategize the gameplay, Call of Duty: Mobile might not be the right choice. You can play PUBG because the battle in Erangel is great.

For COD: Mobile, Search and Destroy mode is undoubtedly the one to yearn for – I love that.

Asphalt 8

You might already be familiar with this game. It’s one of the best racing games and arguably the best one from Gameloft.

No disrespect to Asphalt 9, but I prefer Asphalt 8. Why? Let me explain that. First up is that it is a simpler game than Asphalt 9 and it has a more extensive car collection! The graphics in Asphalt 8 are superior to those in Asphalt 9

The best thing I love about Asphalt 8 is its multiplayer mode. You get to compete with the real players, not a bot.

Pro Tip: To ace the multiplayer mode, you need to get cars that are initially on the least possible power ranking. Upgrade those cars to get an edge in the multiplayer games.

Another notable feature of Asphalt 8 is that it connects to your Google Play Games account, allowing you to save all your progress.

In case you want to challenge a friend in your Bugatti, you can create a private lobby to play the games with your friends.

Overall, it is one of the best racing games currently on Android.

Among Us

No introduction is needed for this game. This was one of the most popular games during the pandemic when everyone was confined to their homes.

The game is about finding imposters and being careful of them. For imposters, it’s a different game. They are tasked with killing the members of the crew while remaining anonymous, and they must trick the other players into hiding their identity, or they will be eliminated.

Speaking of tasks, the other crew members are assigned tasks as well, which they must complete while trying to save themselves from the other impostors.

These are the best games on your Android. You will have fun picking any of these. So, go for it, and cherish them.
